Deaf Access Services Awarded a $10,000 Grant

The James H. Cummings Foundation has awarded a $10,000 grant to Deaf Access Services of Buffalo to help deaf and hearing impaired people.

Deaf Access Services says the money will be used to provide about 30 people with assistive and adaptive equipment, such as flashing doorbell systems, baby monitors, carbon monoxide detectors, fire alarms and videophones.  For more information about DAS and the equipment, call 833-1637 or visit wnydas.org.
